Wine packages on the Star

We sailed RCI in November last year where you could purchase a wine package for $120 which gave you 1 bottle each night with your dinner. do Princess have a similar scheme?

If not, what is the average cost of a bottle of wine with your dinner each night?

I'd like to know too. I think I remember doing this on Sun Princess a year ago and wonder if the wine package is available on the Caribbean Princess as well???

This was one of the first questions I asked after booking my first Princess cruise, and unfortunately, the answer is NO. Princess doesn't offer the wine package. We really enjoyed saving two bottles for the last night and treating our tablemates to some champagne on our RCI cruise.

While Princess does not offer a "Wine Package", I have recently compared the prices of wine onboard RCI with Princess and for the same wine, or a comparable one, RCI charges about $5 to $10 more per bottle. I have been surprised how reasonable Princess is compared to stateside restruants of similiar quality.

Are there no wine packages on any of the Princess ships or just not on some of them?

Bucky3, to my knowledge, Princess does not offer a "wine Package" similar to RCI. They do have wine tastings, where a portion of your charge for the tasting is deducted from a bottle in the dining room.
