Train from Frankfurt to Strasbough

Does anyone know how close the train station HBF is to the airport in Frankfurt? I found something that said a 13 minute walk? I assume there are taxis. Wondering how much time we need between landing and booking the train. We land at 6 am and want to travel by train to visit Strasbough, Colmar, Paris, and then we will take the train on to Barcelona for our cruise. We are two 60+ women in fairly good shape but of course will have a suitcase each. Thanks for any advice you can pass on.

HBF refers to train station. So you would need a train from the airport to the main train station. Germany's rail website is one of the best in Europe...http://www.bahn.com/i/view/index.shtml

Another site I like to use is Rome2Rio. Just use it for an initial screen for options of point A to B. You must drill down to see if an option that looks good works on the linked transportation website.

On second thought, the group on th CruiseAir board would probably know the exact answer to your question...which is how much trouble the trip is from gate to train, if I read your question better the second time? You have seemed to figure out the other logistics quite well.

There is a large train station in the Frankfurt airport itself from which you can take a train to Strasbourg (not Strasbough) without going to the Frankfurt HBF (Hauptbanhof). Look at http://www.bahn.de for details.
