I'm looking for any advice about what hotel to stay at the night before our cruise. I'd like to find a hotel with free parking for the duration of our cruise and a free shuttle to port.

We will be sailing from the port of galveston.

I personally can recommend the Harbor House. I'm not sure about the parking, but you can literally walk across the street to the port. They do provide a free shuttle if you have a lot of luggage. :) They also provide a complimentary breakfast - a very basic cold cereal, fruit, yogurt, Danish, etc.
