Buckimion Posted January 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2016 My wife and I love conch fritters when we can find them or make them, but I'm trying to find a place near the cruise port in Nassau with easy access. My wife isn't very keen on going to the fish fry (Goldies) due to the distance and dealing with peddlers along the way. I use a mobility scooter so hopping the jitney is out and my wife is afraid to ride alone. Bahamanian Cookin' was my second preferred place so far, but they have a step up into the restaurant which is a non-starter for me. Senior Frog's looks too boozy and the main menu isn't appealing. So are there other alternatives that aren't as well advertised?
molme Posted January 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2016 There was a place at the far end of the cruise terminal that we have bought fritters at. They were pretty tasty too.
Cruise-Crazy Posted January 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2016 The ones I bought inside the cruise terminal were pretty bad, very little conch inside most were all batter. There is a place called Athena Cafe that has pretty good fritters but they are on the second floor. The last time I was there {a few months ago} the terminal was still under construction. lmares1968 Posted January 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2016 We walked over to Junkano Beach and got Conch fritters at Tiki Bikini Hut. They were Delicious! Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
