Choosing check in time?

At what point do you get to choose your check in time? After final payment? Does Carnival send you an email to do that?

You can do it anytime after you book, it can be before the final payment is made.

Is this just certain ports, or is it something new? Have cruised a number of times and never had this option.... Unless we missed something....

Where is it that you choose the check in time? Is it part of the manage my booking? If so under what area?

It's new ... it would be in your cruise manager, edit online check in.

 

You don't have to be paid in full to pick yours. ☺

 

Not all ports have the staggered check in yet. There are threads all over the forum about it ... just search "staggered check in"

I'm traveling on the Sunsine and don't see anywhere to choose an arrival time. So I assume the don't have the staggered times out of Port Canaveal?

It's in Galveston and New Orleans. Miami starts in March.

Thank you, it does not appear for me yet, perhaps the cruise is too distant at this time, but at least I know to look for it now :)

We are sailing out of New Orleans Thursday and were able to pick a time. We shall see how it goes....
