Jewel after refurbishment

This will be my second cruise (1st was Oasis May 2014 balcony) but I am really excited as with the new refurbishment comes 2 bedroom suites. I'm traveling with 2 young kids and last minute thought it might be overall cheaper to include my Mother-in-law to assist with babysitting. The 2 bedroom suite on the 8th deck is booked so I'll have to post how it goes. Getting excited!!!

I am also hoping for a park Cafe in the Solarium. I was surprised to see the Pizzaria still showing on the deck plans for post-dry dock. We are also not sushi fans so will miss the Sea View Cafe. However, I am glad to see the outdoor eating area is still there by the Windjammer.

Looks to be a few members going on the April 24 sailing right after dry dock. DW and I are looking forward to seeing the changes as we are on this sailing also. We had the Park Cafe on the Serenade last year in the solarium and it worked well for us.

The afts are the best! We have 9260 for our Med cruise in 2017. W booked the Panama Canal on the Jewel e completed this last October a full year and a half in advance and when we booked the afts were already sold out. S we hoppd right on it hen the itineraries were released this last week. I noticed that quite a few are already gone.
