Texting question

We are leaving tomorrow on the Anthem of the Seas. If we get the internet package, does that include texting? In other words, will texting be free from my ipad? Or do I need to get some sort of package from here? I didn't think of the texting till now, was just planning on getting the internet package

If you are using iMessage for texting, then it will work fine with the internet package.

Worked just fine on Oasis in March. We even FaceTime a few times back home.

Correct, as long as you are using iMessage or some other internet texting app, such as WhatsApp, then no extra charges. If your iPad has cellular capability, then put it into Airplane mode and turn on WiFi to avoid any charges from your cell carrier.
