Pride after upgrades

Hello Everyone: This will be our second cruise on the Pride. The first was several years before the 2.0 upgrades. Could you please let us know what to look forward to on the ship. We are both looking forward to this so much.

Guy's Burgers and the Blue Iguana are great food additions on the pool deck. The two new bars there are great, also. Gives the area a resort feel.

 

We enjoyed the evening movies on the new Lido screen.

 

The old Starry Night club mid-ship by the coffee bar has been transformed into a Red Frog Pub. We hated the old venue. The new pub is a great venue with a live band in the evening. The band during our cruise, the OO-LA-LA'S were fabulous.

 

The never-used bar back by the dining room has been transformed into an Alchemy Bar that seemed to be popular.

 

There is the new water slide. When working, it seems to be more of a thrill than the old one.

 

There is one disappointment. They put a ceramic leaf over the weenie on the statue of David at the Steakhouse. Michelangelo would cringe.

Yep, they did that to David, also took down some of the paintings of the more voluptuous woman that had adorned the ship for years. We have the PC types to thank for this.

I like where the big screen is on Pride better than so high up.
