Roatan vs Belize for Ziplining

We are headed to western car. on Norweigian Jade February 20th. Our family wants to zipline. We were thinking of just taking a taxi to West End Beach in Roatan and then zipline and cave tube in Belize. Any suggestions where the ziplining is better?

Best way to do that is get with a tour company in Roatan -- Victor Bodden and Rony Tours are outstanding. You can customize what you want. Around $80-100 for the private driver for the day for 4 people. Zip lines in Roatan are great and then they can take you to West Bay Beach (fun in the sun - beautiful beach) and West End Village (food and shopping). I highly recommend it. Have a great time! Will be doing exactly this again in Sept.

We love Pirates of the Caribbean. We have used them twice before and will again in 11 days!!! They are in Roatan. You will be rushed for time in Belize. We are just doing the cave tubing there. BTW Pirates use gravity breaking with two safety lines. Some use manual breaking where you have to wear gloves and squeeze the cable to slow yourself down.

Hi RE: Ziplining. Any advice on the following 4 ports? Roatan, SantoTomas de Castilla, Belize City, or Cozumel ?

In late February, we will be at all 4 of these ports and may want to zipline twice.....which area or operators are best? Thank you Tom

Another vote for Pirates. We used them 2 weeks ago and they were outstanding, start to finish.

Gave us a short tour of island before and after our zip.
