pamera Posted January 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2016 My family will be traveling to Cozumel (Punta Langosta) in March with someone that has mobility issues (not confined to a wheelchair, but cannot walk for a long distance). On previous visits, I remember the “pedi cabs” that would cycle you to the end of the pier. It’s been some time since I’ve been there. Has anyone visited there recently and confirm they still have that service? (I found some older posts here that said they do, but nothing current.) Thanks in advance. elou Posted February 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2016 YES, they still do. Also have walking issues. I was there a couple of months ago.
mulewagon Posted February 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I was there last week and yes, they had the pedi-cabs. There was a port employee close to the gangway who would call one for you. Tell him whether you want to go to the shopping area or the taxi stand. They don't have set fares, but ask for "a good tip".
Ralphinsc Posted February 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) Used them before for some self inflicted "mobility issues" obtained on that wonderful island at Senor Frogs. In fact, we had our group get a couple of them and have an impromptu race back to the ship. Both those drivers earned good tips. :p Edited February 4, 2016 by Ralphinsc
