FloridaAdGuy Posted February 1, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Great photos. I've been on the Paradise in March 2014 and will be returning again in two months. You mentioned you'd been on her before. Wondering what your thoughts were comparing past journeys on her. What did you think of the entertainment and condition of the ship compared to other voyages you've experienced on the Paradise? Also, do you have copies of the Fun Times newsletters you can share? SkyMaster Posted February 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Looks like y'all had a fantastic time aboard "Paradise". I've always enjoyed my cruises aboard this great small ship. I'll probably sail her again in 2016. "SKY"

nursemom2 Posted February 2, 2016 Author #10 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Thanks for the link to your blog. Are their any other dining options other than the MDR or Lido buffet? Not that I can recall.... Only afternoon tea. The dining room is nice though, and they have a nice sea day brunch... nursemom2 Posted February 2, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted February 2, 2016 my sister did a blog on fat Tuesdays, here is a link http://4jeanniemaries.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html We ordered Tacos I think, we all ordered something different, and it was all good! There is a picture of one of the meals, and a sideways picture of the menu.:D
nursemom2 Posted February 2, 2016 Author #14 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Lee, I really didn't find any differences in the condition of the ship. She is an older ship, pool is small, but overall is in fine condition. We love the staff as they are always so kind to our Mother, and honestly, I would sail on her again! Pretty soon I think, as Mom is agitating to go again! She sure does love the casino! We enjoyed the shows, food was terrific, and, for us, close to home.:D

simplelife Posted February 5, 2016 #21 Share Posted February 5, 2016 Is a tie required on Captain's Table night or elegant night? We have never done Captains Table, but we have done several elegant nights. A tie is not required. Our most recent cruise (Summer, Caribbean) we saw some suits or sport coats in the MDR,, but most men were wearing collared shirts (button-down with or without ties or polo style). This was for early dining. We did see some people dressed more formally who were having pictures taken
WECRUISE4US Posted February 5, 2016 #22 Share Posted February 5, 2016 Thanks for the review. We are sailing in 34 days on the Paradise. It was our very first cruise back in 2000. This is now our 24th Carnival cruise. Just interested to see how the ship has held up over the years. :):)

capricorn548 Posted February 13, 2016 #24 Share Posted February 13, 2016 Hi, I really enjoyed reading your blog! I wanted to ask about formal night. Is it kid friendly or adults only? Is it just a formal dinner? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
