Price of mixed drinks?

wow...that seems rather high for a drink. $12 to $14 dollars??

 

Is it because they would rather passengers buy the drink package? I am not a big drinker, but like a drink or two a night. At these individual prices, guess I will be sticking to soda and tea!

Yes, they raised the cocktail prices a while back, coincidentally to the same amount that is covered by the drink packages.
