From Marseille - Aix and Lavender Fields

We are on the NCL Epic the beginning of July and are in port at Marseille from 7am-4pm. We are hoping to go to Aix and then to the closest are to see the Lavender fields. Most tours that I have found run too long for the time our ship is in port. Is this plan a possibility in our time frame? Can anyone recommend a tour company that can arrange a private tour for us?

We used Provence Xplorer for a private tour out of Marseiile in April. They, as most private tour companies, will customize both timing and places to visit to meet your needs and wants.

We were in port from 8-6pm and did a tour to Aix then Luberon villages with Provence-Reservation.

 

Our driver and guide was Melanie who was very good.

We used Provence Wine Tours, we went to three wineries, passed lavender and Sunflower fields and spent about 1 1/2 in Aix. Very nice, about 100 Euros per person, high recommend. We were a couple and there was another family of six, in an 8 person van, very comfortable.
