CowPrincess Posted February 7, 2016 #26 Share Posted February 7, 2016 (bolding added) I can't think of anything more boring than an endless round of "where are you from?", "Do you cruise often?", "what's your cabin like?", "why did you pick this cruise/ship/line?" It's dinner, not an interview for an opinion poll. I completely agree. We did one cruise with open dining and would prefer to not do open dining in the future. Certainly the same questions, night after night, were tedious. Not to mention we got some pretty "interesting" table mates a few nights  Thank goodness we didn't have to sit with them again :)
lahlah57 Posted February 8, 2016 #27 Share Posted February 8, 2016 I don't dislike certain people at the dinner table....just find them colorful...interesting or drunk. My husband and I can talk about them for the rest of the night or the rest of the cruise or for years to come! I think that is the only reason we cruise....LOL!
