Cruise Terminal in La Romana, DR

We were in La Romana, DR over a year ago and they only had one place for shopping (Dufrey) which was not a good experience (tried to rip us off) and wanted to find out if they have added more stores or bars in the port area as there was a lot of construction going on back in 2014. Anyone have any info, it's highly appreciated!
