Galveston Cruise Terminal question

Hello cruisers. My wife and I will be cruising on carnival Freedom out of Galveston in April. It is our first time using this terminal. We are curious on the terminal itself. Is there any type of seating? My wife has a highly sensitive vasovagal nerve which causes here to pass out due to certain triggers. Her main trigger is standing in position for periods of times. We have always sailed the west coast out of long beach so any info would very helpful to us. Thank you for any help.

Yes, there is quite a bit of seating. Have you checked in online already and picked your check in time?

We've been through both terminals since the new staggered program was initiated. Here's what I suggest based on those experiences.

If you have priority arrive early. If not then arrive between 2-3pm. The lines are usually zero by then. I base that on a smaller sample, but we've never had problems.
