Definitely having a lot of vacation days makes this possible. I normally drive the route to Denver in 9 hours, but have always wished I had a few days to do the trip. Seems like every little podunk town in Kansas has a museum or something.

Well it's probably going to be cheaper to fly because Rental car companies will KILL you on that ONE WAY trip business...I was going to do that from home to Atlanta and it was 250 bucks for one way drop fee...:eek: yup someone has lost their mind..( and it's not me!!)

I am here in Litchfield CT and don't really like to fly either. Just sailed on the Pride in December. Not a bad 5 hour drive to Baltimore. Wondering how far I am willing to drive in order to try a different ship out of another port!
