Heraklion- Agia Pelagia Beaches Info

Hi,

 

I have searched back through a few threads regarding the Agia Pelagia area beaches specifically Ligaria and Mononaftis, but all info seems to date back almost 6 years. While info online isn't super clear on the process either of getting there either.

 

After doing extensive tours in other ports, a beach day in Crete seems perfect. I have researched many beaches and the ones around Agia Pelagia have really caught our eye.

 

Can anyone shine more light on them? Taxi prices and the process of getting a taxi from port-to beach-back to port? Wondering how difficult that will be. There are 5 of us traveling and we are very excited.
