Breakaway Bahamas-Port or Starboard?

I'm thinking about calling the upsell fairy & am looking for suggestions.

If I have a choice of a port balcony or starboard balcony- which is preferable for a Bahamas sailing to Port Canaveral, GSC & Nassau.....and why?

Thanks in advance for your insight.

In ports of call there is no difference as the direction of the ship docking can vary on each cruise because of weather, maintenance needs, crew lifeboat drills, etc, etc.

Only sure difference is leaving from and getting back to NYC - when leaving you'll have views of Statue of Liberty on starboard side and when getting back, it's on port side.

Port side to see Manhattan skyline with the freedom tower , starboard to see lady liberty. Try to be topside when going under the Verrazano bridge-- its amazing. All not to be missed sites...all beautiful. New York is an amazing port to sail from. Fantastic sites all around.

Only time side of the ship matters is during sail away, and you never know which side they will dock at ports.

Safe sailing
