cherbear4000 Posted February 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2016 My sister and her husband both qualified for some special pack and play promotion where they got a cruise for basically nothing. Since only one person that qualified had to be in a cabin for the promotion, we booked my sister and I in one room, and our husbands in another. Once on board we want to switch so my husband and I are together and they are together. I know we can go to guest services, but how does that work? Do they just switch the keys or do they switch the names? Will the cabin stewards know we switched? My husband is concerned about gratuities going to the right person. We always keep our full auto gratuities, but I am not sure that my sister always does.
ccruisequeen Posted February 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2016 Yes. Make sure the luggage tags have the cabin number you want them to go to, so you're not lugging them twice. The two people changing cabins go together, tell them you want to switch cabins I no longer see carnival from my condo front porch :(
Micahs Grandad Posted February 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2016 All of you should go to guest services tell them what you want to do and it is easily done and tips will go to the crewmembers serving you.
