solmum Posted February 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Wondering if anyone can help me here. I am cruising with my children shortly and they all have snorkels and googles...but the flippers taht we bought with these no longer fit them. My question - can you just hire flippers onboard and any idea how much these were? Trying to work out whether to go and buy them again (very expensive for a once a year cruise to then have them not fit! Children's feet grow so fast!) Thanks so much
peter.kath@hotmail.com Posted February 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2016 From memory I think it was $39 to hire on ship so still cheaper to take your own. I must admit we just take reef shoes now flippers take up a lot of luggage room.
sayaguru Posted February 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2016 $49 to hire on Jewel this week :eek:. Buy some cheap ones. Go to garage sales etc to get some, or Vinnies. If space is a premium you can live without fins. Flipper is a trained dolphin. :D
Seafarer Explorer Posted March 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Must agree. Flipper hire very expensive and just more to carry on and off ship. We just use reef shoes and have our own masks saves a fortune as a family especially if going to cruise a fair bit.
arabella164 Posted April 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2016 $39 on Aria for length of the cruise. The gift shop (Essentials) sells a mask, snorkel and flipper set for $47.
