Before I book...

Hello. I've been invited to go on the Vista in July of 2017. I am loving the look of the ship and I really want to book. I have a family of 5. We will be booking the family room that can accommodate all 5 of us.

 

I was thinking about booking the family suite. Can anyone tell me the perks of having a suite? Is it worth it? Or should I book 2 balcony rooms instead? (My husband refuses to have an oceanview or interior)

Suites come with Priority Embarkation (they board immediatly after Weddings, Diamond, and Platinum)!! :D That's the only suite perk that I know of.

Yes, as Avril said there really aren't perks for suites on Carnival. The perk is really the room itself!

This is SO true!! :D I've been lucky enough to have a suite on 3 of my cruises (well, 4 technically, once on Pride, once on Freedom, and once on my B2B on Imagination). Suites are awesome (whirlpool bathtub, dressing area outside of the bathroom, huge balcony, more counter space, etc)!! :D I really hope I get to sail in one again sometime.

On the Vista, there are 5 person Ocean View rooms as well as the suites with balcony. Also, all Family Harbor rooms have access to a Family Harbor Lounge which has games, an ice cream machine, and other snacks throughout the day only for those in Family Harbor rooms.

 

Also, even Family harbor deluxe ocean view rooms have an extra bathroom!
