spa showers without spa pass question

We are 4 adults in a cabin, and heard about possibly being able to use the showers in the spa as an option to just the one in the cabin. Can this be done without having purchased the spa passes? (We are on the Gem, in a minisuite, if that matters).

If so, what are the hours that the spa showers are available for use?

Thanks.

I think you may have seen posts referring to using the showers on the Sun or Sky. Those ships don't have thermal suite, and it's free to use the steam and sauna. I remember reading at least one post when I was researching the Sun that mentioned using the showers in the locker room. You can't do that on a ship with a full fee-for-access thermal suite.
