Jrb434 Posted February 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 29, 2016 Are the roulette wheels the old style with people spinning the wheel or the new style with electronic betting? Is the casino open to 18 year olds or do you need to be 21? Is it smoke-free?

NCbmwmom Posted February 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 29, 2016 old style , 21, and smoke FILLED Last spring break cruise, my dd had just turned 18. She was able to gamble all she wanted. Pretty sure is 18 to gamble, 21 to drink.

SadieN Posted February 29, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 29, 2016 It is 18 to gamble 21 to drink Been that way since we started cruising 10 years ago. Other cruise lines have an age 21 requirement in the Casino. Princes is one.
WECRUISE4US Posted February 29, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 29, 2016 old style , 21, and smoke FILLED So Sorry. I stand corrected. Per Carnival web: Put your skills and a little luck to the test in Carnival's casinos! Guests must be 18 years of age or older to play the tables and the slot machines; guests under 18 years of age are not permitted... Age Restrictions On Board Drinking Alcoholic Beverages Guests must be 21 years of age or older to be served alcohol onboard. However the casino's are the smoker's haven. So few places for them to light up these days.
curious_st Posted March 1, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 1, 2016 I was on Paradise in October. We had bad weather most of the cruise. Tons of rain and wind, and the outside decks were closed at times. The only indoor smoking area was in the casino and at the casino bar, so all of the smokers went to the casino area to smoke. It was so smoky that I could not breathe in the casino. In fact, much of the Promemade was smoky. They really need to work on the ventilation system on Paradise.
