Hi,

Everytime I've been to Belize (on several different lines) they've all sorts of different vessels for the tendering. Some were faster than others - but none were particularly slow.

I beleive that it is some sort of agreement with the local authorities.

I do not believe you get a choice - howver I'm sure you could let people pass you in the line if you wanted to get on the "next" vessel.

There is a rumor floating around that carnival is planning on building a peir - but from what I understand due to its location in the SW corner of the Gulf sand tends to build up - hence the long tender ride.
