NCL Sun Shore Excursions?

Tinkerbell

Recommended Posts

I feel your pain Tinkerbell - I am a compulsive planner and would LOVE to see what excursions will be available for our Jan 28 cruise for the Guatemala stop. Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer. I can't be bothered calling them but I do check the website daily. If I see any new info, I will post here.

Keep Calling...............

The Cruise Industry Standard is that Shore Excursions SHOULD be POSTED

60 to 90 days before the Cruise.

This assumes that it is a regularly scheduled cruise and not an "Emergency" itinerary due to hurricane Rita Etc,. Etc.

Call your TA, if you used one to book, and have them call.

Well that is the problem - in both my case and Tinkerbell's, the itinerary WAS changed substantially because the ship had to re-locate and re-configure which days in which port due to the hurricane damage in New Orleans. I imagine NCL is still getting tour vendors lined up for some of the "new" ports like Guatemala. Personally I am relieved they told Tinkerbell that they should have info in early November.

Question - can shore excursions be booked and confirmed on the NCL website?

They can be booked but I don't think confirmed (unless of course they have improved the system).

When we were last on the Sun(Dec 2004), we received confirmation of the excursion we had booked when we got our documents.
