kylea_s Posted March 2, 2016 #26 Share Posted March 2, 2016 Don't take two of anything. Decide on one kind of sun screen, one tube of toothpaste, roll clothes in a drawer and mix items that you wouldnt mix at home, panties go in the same drawer with tee shirts etc. Your room steward can provide as many hangers as you want. Plan on doing laundry, that in itself will cut how much you need to pack and sto. Be way neater than you are at home. Find the gym and the showers there, With a wee bit of planning and you will be happy to have saved bundles of money.
Napagirl Posted March 2, 2016 #27 Share Posted March 2, 2016 The last time we cruised with our kids we shared a balcony room with our 13 and 15 year old. It was no big deal at all. I will say that we are travelers and the kids have been going with us since they were born. We know how to pack! It's all about not bringing too much. Color coordinate and re-wear items. Love the over-the-door CLEAR shoe compartments. You can put most everything toilette related in those and all can see where things are. On one cruise I did laundry but it's really not necessary. If you really need to wash something you can do it by hand in the sink and hang to dry.
