Carnival legend/spirit cabin

Recommended Posts

We been allocated cabin 1206 on the legend for our up and coming cruise to the islands in march.

Has anyone stayed in or near this cabin or the identical one on the spirit.

Just wondering what the space is for next to it. It looks like it used to be a cabin but is no longer.

The cabin looks good as there is no cabins next to it but wondering the location if it will be a noisy one.

I tried to look on carnival section on here but there were too many posts on the carnival ships that operate around america and these Aussie ones have got lost in there.

So thought I'd try and get a response here.

Thanks :)

We had the exact same cabin on the Spirit, the room is extremely handy to lifts and stairs, no passing noise of any note, but we had an issue in as much as every night around 2 am and again later there was horrendous crashing noises which sounded like a dumpster being emptied, numerous complaints to our room steward and pursers desk resulted in nothing, no one seemed to know what it was.......or were owning up to it!. As it is the last passenger deck I presumed there was something going on in the lower decks, I thought maybe recycling or something. hopefully for you this isn't the case. Apart from this it was a good cabin. I always find deck 1 very central to everything only need the lifts for the pool deck and buffetRobin.:)

Thanks for that :)

I looked again and don't know what that grey area is next to cabin and between the inside cabins as normally the are back to back. I thought it was hallway to cabins but realise its not now as the entrance to the cabins and walk ways are the beige colour.

I hope that noise doest happen on legend best take sleeping tablets or ear plugs with me.

If it is too noisy I best talk nice to my daughter whose been allocated cabin on deck 7 to swap as she can sleep through anything lol.

Taffy62, the only noise we have experienced in cabins similar to yours is the kids decelerating when running down the passageways. Voices don't seem to penetrate, although we did have a noisy cabin where music from the Centrum was a bit annoying at 11.30pm. I opened the ensuite door and loaded it with towels and bathrobes...reduced the noise well.:o

Other than that it is a typical cabin that we would seek...low, midship and close to stairs and elevators.:)

Enjoy your cruise.

We had 1194 so just 3 cabins along. Location was excellent. Very quiet as the casino above is carpeted and almost no movement due to low deck and midships plus handy for the lifts. I believe the guest laundry is behind your cabin but I doubt that will be an issue. I'd say the grey area is either part of the laundry (which you enter between 1206 and 1207) or it is a cleaning cupboard.

Those cabins aren't really on the way to anywhere except the comedy club so there was almost no traffic outside our doors.

Maybe someone else can confirm re the laundry as it is hard to remember exactly where it was.
