I am thinking of starting a 12 step program for people addicted to crusing. Believe me when I say that I am cruise obsessed!! I am going on back to back cruises on the Caribbean Princess on 5/22 and I have not been able to concentrate on work for the past few weeks!! I check out the cruise boards, look at ship pictures, print menus/patters and countdown the days with my sister and brother-in-law!!

I think I need serious help and am not looking foward to PCD - I think it will be BAD this time!!!

LOL!!

I tend to look at DH's and my paychecks in percentages of cruise fare. Example: I put in some additional hours at work a couple of weeks ago, and when I got my paycheck, I noted that the extra covered half of the cruise we have booked for December. I love my job, but working becomes even more rewarding looking at it that way. I do the same with tax returns and the like.

Am I just weird or what?

The 4th stage of cruising is supposed to be Reflection, not Depression. I suggest savouring the experience more and thinking about the grim reality of being back less. Drinking heavily also helps. icon_biggrin.gif

I love this board!!!!!! It is wonderful to

get such good advice and to realize that I

am not "unique". I think I can make it 1

year until my next cruise (05/05). By the

time It gets here, I will know so much about

the ship and ports of call that it will be

like I have already "been there/done that".

Thanks for this topic

Do what I do and get paid to spend my day on Cruise Critic. How else can you get through the days until your next cruise?
