Looking for help - Haven Aft Penthouse

My next cruise I am on the Port side of the ship, but given a choice I choose Starboard. Why? Personal preference. I sail out of Florida and like to watch the coast gradually recede as we cruise away to the south-east. I also enjoy the sunsets from the balcony the first few days of the cruise.

It really makes very little difference....been in aft penthouse several times on Getaway and Escape...and been on both corners....

Some ports give you a better view from one side or the other BUT you never know which side you'll dock on . Sometimes they'll pull straight in and at other times they'll spin the ship and back in... You'll go crazy trying to figure it out. The only time it really made a difference was when they still had the fireworks at sea....the port aft penthouse gave a great view... But alas no longer important.

Looking to book a Haven Aft Penthouse for an anniversary cruise. An 8 day Caribbean cruise aboard the Escape. I have my choice of 9318 or 9918. Not sure which side of the ship to choose. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Don't think which side is as important as what's above and below you. In the case of your two mentioned suites, you're right above two restaurants and very near the "on the waterfront" areas. Not sure how noisy those might be, but it's something to consider.
