Dixie24 Posted March 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Title says it all, how long does one have to transfer a booking made with Carnival to a TA?
springs741 Posted March 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I don't know but I would think your TA would have that information. If the TA doesn't know, I would be asking myself if that TA has the knowledge of Carnival Cruise line to best serve my needs. My personal preference is to use a PVP but I always recommend new cruisers use a TA or PVP to guide them through the process and be there to answer questions. Please return and let us know the answer and have a wonderful cruise.
zabnee Posted March 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Was just talking about this with my TA last night. They have 30 days to transfer the booking, and will need a PIN number, booking number and room number to do it.

zabnee Posted March 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 8, 2016 So 30 days from the day it was booked? That's how I understand it!
cruising maniac Posted March 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Actually, it is 90 days. They need your booking number and your pin.
annabell08 Posted March 8, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I asked my PVP about booking on board and getting her credit for the booking. She told me all one has to do is call their PVP and give her the booking number IF she made the original booking.

Last time I did it, you had to transfer the booking within 30 days of your initial booking date. You need your pin number and it must be before final payment. I cannot find where the rule has changed. OP, call Carnival, they can tell you.

Carnival may have different rules but travel agents can take over a booking pre-final payment. At least, the ones in the travel agency I work for can. :D

Thanks for the info.
