Can someone please clarify...Are you allowed to bring case/ bottles of water onboard?? Thanks

It's technically not allowed, but they don't usually enforce it. If you're traveling during spring break it's more likely to be confiscated, any other time you should be fine

I have carried on a case of water before and also seen people doing the same with soft drinks. No problem BUT if it is Spring Break time, you might have an issue.

How do you bring it onboard? Just the case of water along with your carry on right? No special packaging required?

I have a duffle bag that I throw a few 6 packs of water and soda into and attach a luggage tag. Always shows up, even during spring break. My concern is that a plastic bottle will get punctured and make a mess for the handlers.

Yes, that is correct. Just bring it onboard with your regular carry on luggage.

 

A couple of times I was able to check the water as luggage other times no way I had to carry it with my carry on.
