Juneau car rental time?

Hi. We will be in Juneau in August from 9am to 9pm. The ship (Radiance) looks to be docking at the Cruise Terminal. We are thinking of booking a car from Avis, as it looks to be the most convenient location.

 

Looking for input from those in the know.... Is making the booking for 9:30 am too early, or is it reasonable to think we can disembark and make our way there on time? We have no issues on foot, so plan to walk. I just don't want to make the booking for a time that is earlier than we will likely get there and risk losing out for not being there on time.

There are four piers in Juneau . So it isn't that easy to say which location.

The closet to the pier would be on Egan Drive .

They aren't going to give your car away if you are a little late. You have a reservation. They just want an estimate of when you will get there.
