AprilJ Posted March 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2016 I checked fare viewer this morning (after being at Disney for a week and not compulsively checking it everyday, lol) and got a $70 reduction and a $50 on board credit! Happy happy! Anyway, my ? is...what do you use your OBC's on? We bought cheers so I'm just curious where we might spend that $50. Husband and I are first timers. Triumph sailing in June. Thanks!! 😊👍

AprilJ Posted March 10, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted March 10, 2016 Prepaid tips, no steakhouse, can't imagine carting liqour home. If we can use it in casino, my husband would enjoy that....and give me a few mins with a book.
mibarron Posted March 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2016 I check fairviewer every week. In 3 weeks, the price went down twice. Received a total $160 in OBC. I'm using that for the bottomless bubbles package for my kids and maybe do the last sea day behind the scenes ship tour. Not sure what it's officially called, but heard it was pretty cool to do at least once. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Any onboard shopping - in the stores (souvenirs, candy, etc.) or buying a souvenir cup, glass or add on. You could treat yourself to a "steakhouse selection" in the main dining room ($20 per entrée) for an extremely good steak or twin lobster tails any night of your cruise. A couple of photos of the two of you. Excursions. Download $50 into a slot machine and enjoy. Cat in Hat Dr Seuss Breakfast ($5 each person). AprilJ Posted March 10, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted March 10, 2016 If we buy something and want to use that credit, do we tell them "please deduct them from the OBC" so that it's not charged to the card or do they automatically use an OBC amount first? When you make an on board purchase of anything (souvenirs, photos, beverages, excursions, etc.),all of your purchases will be automatically placed on your on board account. You can keep track of your daily purchases by checking on your cabin's T.V. If you have enough OBC and cash to cover your expenses, you'll have a balance owed of $0.00 when you Debark. If not, whatever is still outstanding will be charged to your credit card.

vwrestler171 Posted March 14, 2016 #12 Share Posted March 14, 2016 If you don't spend the OBC, on the last day of the cruise, just put it into the slot machine and then cash out.
