River tubing in FEB

Hey All,

My friends did the river tubing in June and they said there was very little water and had to walk a large part of the river. We are going on the same cruise in Feb (Destiny) and was wondering if anyone knows the level of water at that time of year. I have been cave tubing in Belize and it was a blast, but I don't want to end up walking alot

I did the river tubing last February and it was great fun. I plan to do it again this year. I was expecting a nice calm float down the river, but about half was more like rapids. They have at least 10 or 12 helpers with the excursion. If you get hung up on rocks or the side, they pull you off and head you out into the middle again. I'm not sure how deep the water was, but it was deep enough that I never touched the bottom. When we got to the river it looked kind of shallow in places to me, but there was never any problem.
