Aqua & Concierge the same price .... Easy choice ?

A Aqua Suite is the same price as Concierge on the Eclipse :)

 

Have yet to try Aqua so am I correct in thinking it's always gonna

Be better - I've heard all about Blu

We had a decision to make between C1 and AQ2 with the price difference less than $50 total I think per passenger.

 

We could have an aft facing cabin, C1 or AQ2 portside forward and access to BLU and spa. We chose AQ2 as we wanted to experience BLU and had done C1 a couple of times.

We love Blu not just for dinner (quieter, better service, no set dining times, food quality) but also for breakfast. So nice not to have the buffet crowds. You will also get access to the Persisn Garden so I would go for the AQ cabin.

The question to me would be if I was traveling with friends I would not move to Aqua as would want to eat together. Always with friends thus no.

I would do it for sure as if you decide like many do that Blu is not for you you can ask to be assigned to the MDR instead of Blu yet still eat in Blu for breakfast or the Buffet or the MDR for that matter.

Many perks in Aqua, but location is also a consideration. Many of the Aqua staterooms are under the Pool area - early morning moving of deck chairs as the area is cleaned could be noisy. Not sure how much noise there would be if located under the Spa or Fitness Center. Some Aquas are under the Deck 12 suites so it would not be an issue in those cabins.

 

Aquas are closer to the large overhang which may impact the sun on the balcony more than on the Concierge level.

our AQ cabin is portside forward and close to the stairs directly to the spa area. Our actual cabin location is under the acupuncture rooms and have been told they are quiet.

 

AQ1 cabins are more midship and under the overhangs where AQ2 are more forward or aft are further out from the center of the ship.

 

At least that is what I have noticed. Not been in AQ cabin yet. Can't wait though.:)
