back to back cruises

Hi. Has anybody got any helpful tips for doing a back to back cruise? The first week is the fjords followed by a week Iberian cruise in august on Brittania. Any tips will be very much appreciated.

Are you changing cabins or staying in the same cabin.

If staying in the same cabin no problem, normal daqy.

If changing cabins someone from housekeeping will come to see you during the first cruise to discuss moving your items to the new cabin. It depends on the ship, but normally anything on hangers they will move. Anything not in hangers, throw in a case and you or they will move to the new cabin.

Last night of the first cruise everyone will be packing their cases -you do not have to.

Changeover day ,you will have had a statement for your first cruise the night before. Go down to reception in the morning and pick up your new cruise card for the 2nd cruise, and start spending on it. They are treated as 2 different cruises.

You can stay onboard if you wish, but not a lot will be open, but you will have the ship to yourself for a couple of hours, except for the crew.

If you go ashore you go via the crew exit/entrance ,so will not have to go through security again.

Enjoy, its a special feeling.

Thanks very much for info. Yes we have got the same cabin so it sounds thatneverything will be straight forward. My only problem will be packing for two temperatures!

Strangely we are doing similar , Canaries followed by Fjords. Check the temps for the fjords for the time you are going. It might not be as cold as you think.

Oh so am I but on Azura in August. Have done one other back to back on Oceana three years ago Med first then Fjords my tip is to layer clothing.

We had lovely weather, mist and clouds but no rain. Not as hot as the Med but oh the scenery is amazing.
