What room would you pick on the Triumph

Hello. I was wondering if anyone had opinions on 2 different types of rooms on the Triumph. I can either book a Deck 8 aft facing extended balcony or for $100 less, I can book the corner balcony room on Deck 7 at the back of the ship. The deck 7 balcony is longer than usual balcony, but costs the same.

The 2 exact rooms I am comparing are 8430 and 7416. I appreciate any help you all can give me. Thanks, in advance.

If you enjoy a balcony, 7416. It is what is often called a 'bowling alley' balcony because it is so long, about 3x the size of a normal balcony. It won't be as deep as the aft facing but the huge size makes up for it imo. On the other hand if you find yourself staring at the wake for hours maybe you'd prefer the aft facing. I'd pick 7416 any day though

My husband and I had a cabin like 7416 on the Conquest. We loved the extra-long balcony and even had a lounge chair in addition to the regular chairs. The cabin is shaped funny because it wraps around a crew staircase, but we never heard a thing. Although we didn't have a couch on the Conquest, I have seen pictures from the Triumph which show a couch. Deck 7 is also between other cabin-only decks, which means less noise. The only drawback was the vibration from the engines which gave me a migraine, but I am very sensitive to that sort of thing.
