Vibe on the Escape

Did you get your passes at the Haven Concierge or did you go to the main desk to get them? We're just trying to plan when we should get to the pier and where we need to go right away when onboard to get the passes. We're 100% sure we want them, just want to make sure we get them! :)

Thanks in advance!

Sorry .... I didn't actually get the passes this time - I wanted them based on what I saw!!!

My limited knowledge advice (but when has that stopped people on these boards:D?) would be to arrive at the pier at around 10:30 .... we arrived around 11 and they were already well into general boarding.

You will among the very first to board and you will be escorted by a Haven guide and you can ask them where the passes are being sold. I would personally get them myself. The Concierge might be busy dealing with other matters.

So, a few things. My other half called into NCL and found out a couple things about the Vibe on Escape. I'm just passing along the information that we got fed today on the phone.

1) Haven guests have had the past couple of weeks to pre-purchase Vibe passes. ONLY Haven guest have this opportunity. We put in our request and will find out once onboard if any passes are still available. But it does not look good for the general population outside the Haven.

2) There are no cabanas on Escape.

If we get passes and get in, I will let you know all the details. But, until then, this is the information that NCL told us.

Thanks!

~Heather

Wow that's awesome Heather, I hope you get them but I also hope not a lot of people see this because I'm not in the haven and I'll be among the general pop trying to get there early this Saturday to get them!

Anyone who wants to make a quick $200 I'll pay double for them! (j/k...sorta) ;)

You can call or email the pre-concierge dept. The contact info should be on the letter you received. If you don't have, just call main number.

I wouldn't wait until boarding.

Were you in the Haven too? Did you purchase your tickets at the conceige or the main service desks?

ooops..... just saw this.

I would be optimistic that you will get them. I haven't heard/read of anyone in the Haven not getting them when requested before embarkation.

I sure hope we get them! I would be a little disappointed if we didn't but, it is what it is and I won't let it ruin our vacation!! I read on another thread that the concierge was discouraging Haven members that wanted Vibe passes.

Since we've only been in the Haven since Monday, there wasn't time to purchase them beforehand and I didn't realize you even could. But with the request, I would hope they would spare a few passes for us!

If The Haven would have the same kind of lay out I would not bother, but sitting at a bar, mostly quiet, comfort, no kids and ADULT only drinks and talks it is even worth more then just those cheap $99 for the week!

Bingo. Prada, I couldn't agree more.

Thank you!:D

They should raise the prices like Las Vegas, but include a little more! Do it like a VIP Club! Minimum $100 a person a day or weekly $500! Would be worth it!

I'm curious if being a b2b would give me any advantage to snag some passes on the 2nd leg/turnaround day. Interesting.

The b2b Cruisers reboard either at the same time or just prior to Haven passengers. I don't recall exactly what order the b2b cruisers I met in Vibe said they reboarded but they snagged passes.

There was one post back in January that said all Vibe passes were taken by b2b cruisers on his sailing. We were lucky, there were few b2b on our sailing but there was a Haven cruiser who took 8 passes so they could be with non-haven friends. That did not go over well on the line for Vibe passes.

Loved the Escape, but I know some of my positive experience was related to the club atmosphere at Vibe. Have always met nice people on cruises but the continuity of Vibe adds to that experience. Have been lucky to get Vibe on both BA & Escape. I was on the 4th sailing of the BA and there was not the same awareness of Vibe so it wasn't as difficult to get a pass.

I never saw a child on the sundeck during my sailing. I doubt kids on the sundeck would be a problem; not anything for them to do there. I think the Vibe guests are safe :-)

The reported issues/complaints/observations have been their presence 2 decks down in the courtyard area (pool and hot tubs area).

we were in the haven recently and never encountered kids on the sun deck. I guess it depends on the time of year you are cruising. vibe is next door to the haven sundeck so really unruly kids could possibly be a challenge for vibe guests.

After reading that Haven cruisers can pre purchase vibe passes, Can They only buy vibe passes for the number of people in their cabin or more?

If it would be more that would be fun! I would buy em all and resell them on the pool deck for a higher price lol:D

Is the Vibe worth it? We are currently in The Haven, but after reading some reviews about unruly children in the Haven areas, we are considering purchasing passes for Vibe. We sail on Saturday, so any advice/help is much appreciated. Just a bit of info, we're in our 30's and it's just us on vacation and love our "sun" time.

Thank you!

I've been in the Haven a few times and never had any problem with children. I was considering buying Vibe passes but more than one person told me the vibe is only really worth it if you're not in the Haven.
