Parasailing in nassau

Hi Everyone ~ for those who have done parasailing in Nassau, how far from the ship is the site to board the boat? We plan on parasailing and then would like to walk over the bridge to Paradise Island. Thanks.

Has anyone done this without booking thru the cruiseline? I've heard Freddie's high tech and jr action sports are good and well respected but when I sent an email booking inquiry to Freddie's it came back with the boat is under maintenance and the website for jr action is no longer available. My daughters really want to do this and booking with carnival is so much more expensive.
