Venice to Marco Polo Airport

Hello, We are arriving in Venice on Holland America. Our flight to Paris is not until 6pm. We are traveling with 8 people. What can we do in the mean time? We wanted to walk around in Venice a bit before heading to the airport after we disembark, but we don't know where we can store our luggage.Should we go to the airport and check in our bags and then walk around town nearby the airport? We fly out of Venice from Marco Polo. Any suggestions would be welcomed! TIA!!:)

If HAL has luggage service to the airport, use it. Not sure how it works internationally, but it's worth checking into.

 

There are public buses to the airport (two different lines - check their websites) which are convenient and easy. Can't remember the names off the top of my head, but you can find them by searching for "airport transport - Venice" or similar. The guidebooks also all have info on that, either in a book or on line (also check TripAdvisor).

You can drop your bags at Piazzale Roma after you get off the people mover from the cruise terminal then go see Venice until it's time to head to the airport.
