port wine in the Olympic on Mille

Hello all!

 

three years ago my husband and I were on the Mille and I had the most fabulous dessert port wine with my Chef Roux sampler dessert (amazing!) in the Olympic. I recall that it was around $12-14 for the one little glass (port wine glass). But because of all of the other wines we were tasting that night, I neglected to get the name of it. They picked it out for me so I never recall even seeing the name of it. Does anyone know the name of this, or if anyone is going soon, can they look it up for me? For some reason, it never occurred to me to ask on the boards about this, hubbby and I are always talking about it!

I never had the port wine on Celebrity, but I believe I had the starboard wine at some point, and it was pretty good. :D

I also had it on the Constellation, it is fabulous. I believe it is Taylor Tawny port not the normal one sold but I will research and get back to you with the full correct name.

It is Taylor Tawny Port 10 years old. Very hard to find in any local store.

Thanks EDS for providing a real answer. I actually do enjoy a glass of port every now and then. I can't remember if you can get it by the glass in the Mian Dining room? Perhaps with your chees or dessert?

Cruise Arizona - you can get it in the main dining room. The dessert menus had dessert wines, but you can also just ask the sommelier and he will get it for you.
