Cabin 11874 on the Escape...Can you book 2?

We have only cruised Carnival and I know sometimes they will bump you to another cabin if you are booked one that fits more than 2. We want to book Cabin 11874 on NCL Escape because it looks to have the extra balcony room but I am concerned that it sleeps 3 and they may move us? Any help would be appreciated.

They'll bump the cruise before they bump your guaranteed cabin. Not a problem.

Selected cabin is not "guaranteed". According to the Passenger Ticket Contract the cruise line can move anybody they want, even when selecting a specific cabin the booking only guarantees the category (or higher).

But to answer OP's question: no, NCL does not do that like Carnival. (Actually Carnival is the only cruise line I've heard doing that.)
