Thank you for the photos! I was curious because I have a 5'7 14 yr old and an 11 yr old! I still have no clue what cabin we are going to be assigned. Why would someone not want deck 6? I am just happy to be going!!:)

Deck 6 will have many cabins that are noisy due to the piano bar, lounges, casino on deck 5. We have been in a gty balcony above piano bar before and they play until around 300 am. Wasn't too bad for me and my husband but my in laws go to bed very early and have never cruised again.

That picture provided earlier should be exactly how your room is set up. Carnival rooms tend to stay true to that setup for quad balcony or OV rooms, except on their small ships. That upper bunk & sofabed are pretty much the exact same size as the standard twin beds, so they are fine for a full-grown adult.

I would also prefer to not be on deck 6, because there are many noisy spots on deck 5. The rooms above the noisy spots tend to be the last rooms picked, so you could get assigned one of those. But you never know. Plenty of people end up with good assignments. I am just one that would prefer to pick my own spot.

We decided to go on the April 16th Triumph cruise in February.(Valentine Gift from DH) Started off on the 4 day in an oceanview April 4th, but switched to the 16th. The girl at the travel agency suggested we could do a balcony guarantee for $100 more. Sounded good. Any balcony is better than no balcony, right? The day after we paid I saw we had been assigned 6258. Good, near the elevators, only one flight of stairs down to deck 5 to walk around. Sounded great. THEN, I looked at the Deck plan for deck 5 - we're right above the restroom outside the theater! LOL! This ought to be interesting.

I am sailing on the Triumph on June 11. Found this picture of a 4 person balcony stateroom. The 2 twins can also be put together as a king.
