How is wifi service on the Journey since the retrofit?

We were on Oceania last year and it was excellent, even supporting FaceTime.

We're on the Miami-Nice Journey cruise next week.

I can only speak to our Journey cruise in the Caribbean.

I purchased an unlimited Internet package as I teach online and have to be in my classroom.

We were midship and had fairly good speed.

I was glad to have that unlimited time as website access and downloads were slow.

The best thing is I had Internet in my stateroom and did not have to go to a public area: )

on our back to back Cruise from Feb 29. to March 26. the speed in our stateroom deck seven was fine for e-mail , Facebook , what's up etc, but a little bit slow for surfing and downloading.

It is no better than it was in November.

When i was on board earlier this month I spoke to the IT guy who advised that they had increased the bandwidth to allow more devices to access the wifi but there is no improvement in speed.

I tended to use it early in the morning or later at night when i found it worked better.

I was on the Panama Canal sailing Feb 29th and the wifi was woefully slow. I complained on several occasions but they weren't interested. Absolute ripoff pricing too.
