We have the beach day booked for next week but now thinking of switching to Dolphins encounter . It is listed as 3 hours only while the beach day is 5 hours , we wanted to spend the whole day in blue lagoon can we stay on the island until 4pm ferry or do we need to leave after the encounter is over.

Thanks

We did this same excursion, and the answer is....it depends on the timing. We almost never book excursions through the ship, but with the timing of the ferries from Blue Lagoon back to Nassau we had to with this one, because of our ship's arrival and departure times. We could not be sure we'd make it back on the regular ferry and so we opted to go with NCL.

So, in short, check the normal ferry times from Blue Lagoon back to Nassau, and see how it matches up with your excursion time, and allowing you extra time on the beach. If so, you're golden.
