barbarah Posted October 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2005 Hi. Has anyone stayed in this cabin and give us some info, please? I know its larger than the other BA category cabins and its between two beautiful suites. Is it a noisy area at night with the Observation Deck above it? Also, does anyone know where the extra space is in the cabin? Is it just a longer cabin with more floor space? Is the bathroom larger as well? Thanks. crosj Posted October 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2005 We have this room on our "quickie" cruise in May. Before booking I did my research and it is indeed bigger then the rest of the ba. Just do a search and you will come up with much more info. What I do remember is that the noise is not a factor.
barbarah Posted October 17, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted October 17, 2005 Thank you so much. I've been searching and searching....and did find that the cabin and balcony were larger, but that's all I can find out. We're glad to hear that noise won't be an issue. Thanks again. richtersl Posted October 17, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2005 I've stayed in 1201 and can tell you that noise will not be an issue. :D You'll be able to sleep just fine. We did hear (very) faint music from the Observation Lounge in the bathroom but it never got as far as the living area. You'll like this location very much. Time To Travel Posted October 17, 2005 #7 Share Posted October 17, 2005 I stayed in 1201 this June and noise from the observation lounge was definitely not an issue. I will be staying in 1202 in December and will let you know more about 1202 then.
conch17 Posted October 19, 2005 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2005 My daughter and her boyfriend stayed in 1202 last year, and I can tell you for the price of a balcony cabin you are getting a steal! The set up of the room is more like a mini suite, the interior was nearly the same as the mini suite my husband and I stayed in! VERY VERY spacious cabin!I think this is due to the fact that it is often times used as an adjoining stateroom to the 1203 owners suite. The deck is more than twice the size of of a normal BA. The bathroom is the same size as the BA. I asked my daughter about the noise issue, and she said it was not an issue. Have a great trip!
barbarah Posted October 19, 2005 Author #9 Share Posted October 19, 2005 conch17, Thanks so much for the info. We're really looking forward to this trip and the cabin sounds wonderful. By any chance was there a bathtub or just a shower? Barbara
conch17 Posted October 19, 2005 #10 Share Posted October 19, 2005 Just a shower. Did I mention that you will have a full glass front with sliding doors.
barbarah Posted October 21, 2005 Author #11 Share Posted October 21, 2005 Thanks for the info. Do you mean that we have a full glass wall facing the front of the ship? That would be awesome!
conch17 Posted October 21, 2005 #12 Share Posted October 21, 2005 Full Glass! It's a beautiful thing!
angel41 Posted November 1, 2005 #13 Share Posted November 1, 2005 Is the glass front the balcony or just a set of windows? If it's balcony, I just decided on my next cruise.
