Ketchikan taxis

Are there taxis available at the Ketchikan port? If so, does anyone know how early they are available?

Yes there are taxis available in Ketchikan. There have always been several at the end of the dock no matter what time I disembarked. But unless you need to travel far, Ketchikan is very walkable if you are physically able.

Thanks! We wanted to disembark early and do some walking, but not physically able to walk all day. Thought we'd take a taxi to start off and work our way back.

There is also a free downtown shuttle that runs in a loop. You can get off and on at multiple locations.
