Ahoy cruisers! I'm currently sailing on the Carnival Glory to the western Caribbean and I want to be available to answer any questions anyone has about the ship and the itinerary. I'll try my best to provide accurate info as well as offer my opinions about the Glory experience itself.

Our ship is just about at full occupancy and therefore very busy in most areas. We're in a balcony cabin on the Verandah deck (8th floor). 24 hours into our cruise, we're pleased with our experience so far. The ship is in very good shape and all of the staff we've encountered have been friendly and helpful.

If anyone has any questions about the cruise, let me know and I'll do my best to respond the same day.

Here's hoping for a week of smooth sailing!

Happy cruising, we will be on the Glory next month. Glad to hear that you are having a good cruise. If you can check and see if they have a live band for dancing in one of the lounges for me, I would really appreciate any feedback. Enjoy the rest of your cruise.

We will be on the Glory (4/23) and was wondering about the Piano bar player and the rest of the bands around the ship. Many thanks for any reports back!! John F :)

Curious if Dustin is the CD and how he is doing?

Those two above plus how/who is the Casino Host and the smoke in there ? Thanks for any/all the updates ... Hope you're having a blast and good weather too

If you run into Jordan (entertainment staff) tell her that her Mom says hello!! She should be doing trivia and probably kaoroke along with other hosting duties.

I'll be on her May 14th if Jordan is still there remind me and I'll say hello to her from you... And anything else just email me below if she needs something...

Apologies for the delay in response. WiFi service on the ship have been very weak/nonexistent in the last 24 hours. Purchased the Carnival $60 internet pkg and services thus far have been spotty at best.

We're on the Glory's western Caribbean itinerary which includes Grand Cayman, Roatan/Honduras, Belize and Cozumel. We're just leaving Grand Cayman now after a very short stay - the last tender left the port at 2:15pm. We took a cab to Seven Mile Beach, rented chairs and umbrella, and enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery.

Regarding the casino, we weren't able to stay in there long enough to gamble more than 10 minutes, due to cigarettes smoke - it's very very strong and renders the entire area, and surrounding spaces, uninhabitable, at least for us. We're not militant anti smokers but can't understand why cruise lines continue to allow smoking in any enclosed places.

I've attempted to visit the Serenity area twice and it's been quite crowded, at least in the outdoor area where the loungers are. Will attempt to visit again in the coming days and will look for hammocks.

We attended last night's Motor City music show and found it to be enjoyable - the singing and dancing were good, the song choices were right up our 60 year old alleys and the 8 entertainers seemed to be also enjoying themselves. We've also enjoyed/appreciated Guitar Sounds with JJ and Motown with Glory Days in the Colors Lobby bar.

Other than the too brief a day (for us) in Grand Cayman, our Carnival Glory experience thus far gets about 1 1/2 out of 2 thumbs up!

There are live bands for dancing near the abr in the casino and in the atrium nightly...however, when we were on her 3 weeks ago they were so bad no one stayed for long to listen to them

Hi, I will be in cabin 7359. Can you find out if the cabin stewards supply closet is across the hall or what is across the hall? Also last year we had Harry, Mario and Ron as our wait staff would love to know if they are still on the ship. Thanks!! Hope you are enjoying your cruise!

For the April 9th sailing, we were in Verandah balcony cabin 8275 and were very satisfied with its setup, location and "quietness". Beds were a little too firm for my liking but otherwise no complaints. Our cabin steward, Brigitte, did a great job of keeping us comfortable and well taken care of.

We spent only about 15 minutes in the Piano Bar, but the singer didn't impress us at all, sounded amateurish and seemed to have no enthusiasm - those sitting around the piano bar also looked like they were falling asleep and it was only 9:30pm.

We spent some time in the Colors Lobby Bar before and after dinner and really enjoyed the Motown Sounds band.
