Formal nights - Carnival splendor 17th April

Travelling with my 3 year old son and not really interested in formal nights as we are looking for a more casual holiday. Wondering when they are and how best to avoid! Thanks

There are no formal nights, only Cruise Elegant nights.

It depends on the length of your cruise and is mentioned in the Fun Times.

Most likely, it will be the two Sea Days, but someone else will probably have a more accurate answer.

We are on this cruise. Elegant nights will be Monday and Friday nights.

 

BTW from what I hear you'd be surprised at how casual you can get away with on elegant nights. Men, Dockers pants and a button up collar shirt or polo shirt. Woman, Simple blouse or nice button up shirt and a nice pair of pants or dress. No jeans, T-shirts or flip flops

Its very easy to avoid - room service or buffet for dinner.
